Analysis of Willingness To Pay of Guaranteed Bandwidth Service with Flat Rate Pricing

Abstract(in English) In recent years, the communication network environment has changed dramatically. Many carriers are beginning to offer various new communication services, besides conventional services. One of the most attractive services is the differentiated QoS service with multiple priority control. In this paper, assuming the guaranteed bandwidth service with flat rate pricing, the quantitative relation between the guaranteed bandwidth and the user's willingness to pay is analysed. From the questionnaire survey, the relationship between the quality and the user's willingness to pay is obtained. Using the least squares method, the relationship between the quality and the willingness to pay is estimated. Finally, the factors that affect willingness to pay are shown by using the methods of regression analysis and quantification theory I.
