Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, vast amounts of personal information, stored electronically on servers, are accessed by various personnel within an organization. They are authorized through verification processes, but the problem of information leaks exists in such systems. With the advancement of cryptography, we can strengthen certification processes and prevent the tapping of personal information on a network. However, when persons in an organization leak information intentionally, it is impossible to prevent their actions with technology. Therefore, it is necessary to protect such information by making it possible to identify exactly the persons involved when information is leaked so that they can be punished. In this paper, we propose a new log management system using ditital watermark which will ensure that a person leaking information can be specifically identified by embedding logs into each piece of information. Also, we describe in this paper a new type of digital watermark technology used for implementing our proposed system.
