Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper compares achievable throughput performance of multiple antenna transmission and reception technique called MIMO(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output), using the 100 MHz bandwidth in VSF-OFCDM (Variable Spreading Factor-Orthogonal Frequency and Code Division Multiplexing) forward link aiming at information bit rate of 1Gbps. More specifically, we compare three schemes such as (1)MIMO Multiplexing, (2)STBC(Space Time Block Code) called MIMO Diversity, and (3)AAA-BF(Adaptive Antenna Array-Beam Forming) transmitter together with antenna diversity reception. Simulation results clucidate that combination of AAA-BF and antenna diversity reception or MIMO Multiplexing decreases the required transmission power most for the information bit rate below or above approximately 300 Mbps. However, it is also clarified that only MIMO multiplexing can realize much high information bit rate such as 1Gbps.
