Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | As case study of Web3D technology and its application, we have developed a system that supports the creation of classical ballet choreography in 3D environments. The system allows users to interactively crate various choreographies on the Web and to represent them as 3DCG animation. The data were captures from professional dancers performances using motion capture systems. The archive has exhaustively accumulated motion data of basic steps for lessons. We discuss the structural analysis of ballet motion and possible connections between basic ballet steps. This allows users to choreograph easily and to avert creating illogical choreographic sequences. |
