Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Desktop video communication media are one way of linking users. Most desktop video communication systems fail to well express the user's intention because their video images are fixed and only one viewpoint is used. Because such images are not stimulating, they fail to hold the user's attention. We propose a method that enhances the usability of video windows for communication ; the windouw is moved or rotated according to the other's preference, and the images in the window is changed among the viewpoints created by many cameras set around the other user. The proposed method is intended to show the user's intent and mood.
