Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have counducted studies on a quantitative method for measurement of psychological effect given by highly realistic surrounding display systems. The proposed method uses the movement of observer's center-of gravity (body-sway) induced by the visual stimulus as an index. To analyze quantitative relation between observer's body-sway and the visual stimulus, an ARX model was fitted to the data. We then compared the data with the data of stance posture control in tracking motion. The results suggest that a visually-induced self motion and visually-induced perception of self-motion have functions to learn and to predict dynamics of visual stimulus.
