| 抄録(和) | 本稿では,正面顔画像から得られるエッジ情報に着目し,男女の性別推定と10歳代から60歳代までの年代の推定を行う.ここでのエッジ情報とは,肌色情報で抽出した顔領域および首を含めた領域における皺と顔や構成部品の輪郭である.正規化した顔画像から,垂直方向・水平方向の累積ビストグラムを求め,推定のための特徴データとする.男女別や年代毎の特徴データをニューラルネットワーク(Neural Networks : NN)に学習させることで,顔画像から性別および年代推定を行う手法を提案する. |
| 抄録(英) | For gender and age estimation, this study focuses on the edge information that consists of all wrinkles in a face and also a neck. Density histogram in which the value of the edge intensity of the vertical direction and the horizontal direction in an image is greater than a threshold value is computed by using the edge information. They are treated as input data to a neural network. This estimation is tried toward the face image database which collected face images of 15-64 years old. In order to show the effectiveness of the proposed method, computer simulations are carried out using these face images. |
