Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Reconstruction of spectral reflectances of each pixel of objects by the use of image data is useful since color reproduction under a variety illuminants can be achieved easily by image processing and this technology is becoming a key technology of digital archive for art paintings. Wiener filter is usually used to reconstruct spectral reflectances. To use the filter, prior knowledge of the noise present in the color image acquisition system and the spectral reflectances of objects being imaged is required. In this paper, a trial is discussed to reconstruct spectral reflectances without prior knowledge of noise and surface reflectances of objects being imaged.
