Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A simple but distorted sinusoidal waveform was obtained by filtering with the passing bandwidth of one octave. The periodic structure was plainly modeled as the linkage of short-time segments representing the acoustic energy. We have demonstrated the appearance of acoustic energy of 500 to 800 Hz between the two prominent energy concentrations in an emotional speech arisen from odors. This result shows the hypothesis that not only formants but also the slight change of vocal structure is processed in the human auditory system for the much superior perceptibility.
