Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed the Fuzzy Spline Curve Identifier (FSCI), which identifies a freehand curve as one of seven kinds of curve primitives: line, circle, circular arc, ellipse, elliptic arc, free closed curve, or free open curve. Then, we have developed a freehand sketch input user interface which uses FSCI. In this paper, we present a framework which enables the interface to cooperate with existent CAD applications and to be used as a front-end processor, so that we can use the interface more widely. Then, we make an experimental implementation of the front-end processor and demonstrate how it works.
