Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The ability of facial recognition was measured by the Item Response Theory. This procedure allows us to grasp both aspects of 'expression' and 'recognition' in the same dimension. The correlations between this ability and observer's other behavioral tendency (personality traits) were also investigated. We discussed the importance of experiences to acquire the ability of facial recognition.
