| Abstract(in English) | Faces have different kinds of information, for example, the person's feelings, age, or information related to his/her identity. How does the brain represents such a complicating visual stimulus? We present experimental evidence that neurons in the visual association area of the monkey temporal cortex code multiple aspects of face-stimuli in their temporal firing pattern. This coding pattern could be related to associative memory about visual stimuli in the temporal cortex. |
