Face Recognition by Multiple Constrained Mutual Subspace Method

Abstract(in English) Constrained Mutual Subspace Method (CMSM) can extract effective features for recognition by projecting input and reference subspaces to a constrained subspace. CMSM in face recognition needs various face patterns to generate a constraint subspace. However, it is difficult to acquire various face patterns. In recent years, ensemble learning algorithm is noticed. This algorithm can obtain a high performance by combining multiple weak learning machines. In this paper, we propose a new method which uses multiple constraint subspaces. We call this method Multiple Constrained Mutual Subspace Method (MCMSM). Through experimental results, we show the effectiveness of this method for face recognition.
