Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Generating dance CG synchronized with music is useful for many entertainment applications such as movies and computer games. In this paper, we propose the dance synthesis method by analyzing dance video sequences. We analyze the association between musical features and dance motions, and generate codebooks that describe music-dance associations. Then we apply the music-dance associations to a new input music. We present the example of synthesized dances that demonstrates the effectiveness of the algorithm.
