Abstract(in English) This paper presents a human face acquisition system with robot vision, which uses a face detection method proposed by the last two authors. This face detection method is based on the learning of lifting dyadic wavelet filters adaptive to the objects such as eyes, nose, and lips contained in a facial image. In simulation, it is shown that our system can extract human faces similar to those used in learning lifting dyadic wavelet filters.
