Early Detection of Depression using Facial Expressions Recognition

Abstract(in English) Recently, Depression is becoming a big problem. Depression is highly curable if found early and given medical attention. Evaluation by psychiatrist is needed for accurate diagnosis. But there is problem with shortage of psychiatrist. Therefore, self-rating scale is used for screening purposes before the psychiatrist diagnose. But then, self-rating scale as one knows it have problem that is easy to fabricate the results of test. For such occasions, we suggest the detection of depression that easy to use by facial expressions recognition. This test is difficult to fabricate the results. Furthermore, We examine that put this test to the mobile screening for increase of early detection.
