Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed a new ubiquitous computing system to understand and enhance spontaneous face-to-face conversations using multimodal sensing technologies. The system extracts and accumulates multimodal knowledge and knowhow from ubiquitous conversations using various cameras and wearable sensors such as microphones and gyro sensors. We have developed a prototype system using a wide angle camera and wearable sensors for understanding dynamic face-to-face conversations and have shown the effectiveness of the proposed system.
