Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new framework for psychological experiment which measures infant's physical action, instead of visual one, on various kinds of objects. We introduce an experimental device, called InfPad. InfPad consists of a touchable display and a laser sensor which can precisely measure the intensity of infant's "touching" applied to the displayed object. From our preliminary experiments using InfPad, we found that infants over 24 month old showed different touching behavior when the category of the displayed object was "ball".
