Abstract(in English) There are various affective expression methods using computer. In this paper, a selection method of words and facial expressions for expressing emotion is proposed, and the results using the method are described, as a basic consideration toward interface expressing affection corresponding to a text-based content. A three-dimensional synthesized face is used to express facial expressions. First, a selection method of words and facial expressions for expressing affection is proposed, and the results of the selection are described, respectively. Then, an architecture of a story narration system using the results is explained, and a method and result of an experiment using the system are described.
