Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Two self-help groups were comprised of six home caregivers to investigate the supportive effects. They exchanged e-mail messages in a mailing list on their cell-phones for 4 weeks. The interaction and the messages were analyzed. Although there were little differences between the two groups in their demographic and psychological traits, these communication processes were distinct from each other. Supportive messages appeared frequently in one group, whereas there was lots of self-disclosure in the messages of the other group.
