Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a new welfare service based on "TSUNAGARI" communication which allows people who are living apart to always transmit "Background Information" each other. This service was designed according to our new method which focuses on the communication environments of elderly people. The method consists of the following processes: research on users' requirements, investigation of actual conditions, design and verification. Finally, this paper clarifies the necessary factors and the suitable provisioning style for the new welfare service.
