| 抄録(和) | 人は,自らのとるべき行動を,同じ状況に基づいて他者が下した判断を外的な要因として得ることで最終的な決定を下していることが多い.しかし,サイバースペースを利用したWWW(World Wide Web)では,ブラウジングの際,他者の存在は不可視であり,ユーザがコンテンツに埋め込まれたハイパーリンクを辿ってWebページを閲覧する際には,自己の内部に閉じた判断過程に頼ることになる.このような現状のWWWブラウジング形態に対して,複数の他者の存在の象徴として仮想マウスポインタを使って,ユーザのブラウザに他者の存在を表示することによって,他者の行動を象徴化した仮想マウスポインタがWWWにおいてユーザにどのような行動の変化を生じさせるかを観察する心理実験を行った.その結果,複数の選択肢から選択を行なう際,仮想マウスポインタで象徴化された他者の行動に対してユーザが同調行動や仮想マウスポインタが集中したために出来た集団を避けるような行動を行なうことが確認された. |
| 抄録(英) | It is often the case that we make a final decision of our actions by obtaining, as an external factor, judgments made by others who face the same situation. However, we cannot see 'others' when we browse WWW (World Wide Web). Therefore when we browse web pages following the hyperlinks embedded in the web contents, we cannot help depending on the judgments of our inner self. In this research, we use a virtual mouse pointer on the browser display as a symbol of the existence of other persons. Then a psychological experiment is conducted to examine what effects will be observed in judgments of the subjects browsing WWW. The result shows that when selecting two or more choices, the subjects did actions in the same way as the virtual mouse pointer, and actions avoiding intentionally the group that was formed when the mouse pointers crowded together. |
