Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Although the automation system of the aircrafts can reduce human operators' workload, it may introduce new types of human error like "mode-confusion". In this paper, the conventional cockpit interface has been modified based on the concept of supporting situation awareness regarding the mode of automation in modern aircraft. In addition, the subject of research has been extended to the flight operation system which includes air traffic control. The direction on how to prevent human error that occurs in the co-operative work of pilots and controllers under severe time constraint has been discussed through an incident analysis.
