Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is important to consider how to construct trust between a user and a life-like agent (an embodied character on a screen) in the interaction design between them. In this study, regarding the exchange of self-disclosure between a user and a life-like agent as social existence as an activity to construct trust, the breadth and depth of users' self-disclosure and the influence of conveyance of self-disclosure toward a third-party by the life-like agent were examined. The result suggested that self-disclosure from a life-like agent promotes self-disclosure of some users, and that it is possible that each user interprets the self-disclosure from a life-like agent in a different way.
