Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This research aims at comfortable communication between humans and machines. We pay attention to face expressions and automatically classified them into the "angry", "joy", "surprise" and "sadness." The classification uses features that correspond to expression-motion-patterns. Then, we output voice data based on results of the classification. When we output the voice data, insufficiencies of our classification are taken into account. We choose the first expression candidate and the second expression candidate from the result of the classification. The information of these candidates is used when we access our voice database that contains voice data corresponding to human feelings.
