Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We describe several cut editing rules that take advantage of the functions of gaze as documented in the field of psychology with the aim of producing comprehensive movies. The multiparty conversations were recorded using multiple cameras. These movies taken in parallel were edited into a single expressional stream using the cut editing rules. We conducted some experiments to investigate whether the editing rules enable the non-participants in the conversation to comprehend the participants' behavior and the direction of their behavior. Through the experiments, we found that gaze is effective for producing more comprehensive movies.
