| 抄録(和) | コンピュータによる似顔絵生成は、新聞・雑誌での利用にとどまらず、ホームページヘの掲載、顔画像のデータベース検索、携帯電話などにおけるエージェントとしての利用など様々な応用が期待されている。本論文では固有空間法を用いた似顔絵生成手法を基に、顔印象に係わる言語表現に対する対話的な操作によって似顔絵を生成する方法について述べる。まず、実顔データにおける顔部品の形状や配置に関する情報の分析によって得られた主成分に対し、対話的な操作を施して似顔絵の特徴を変化させるシステムを関発した。このシステムを利用して主成分が担う形状的特徴を明確にし、形状情報と配置情報の分離を行った。次に言語表現と、主成分の組合せに基づいた似顔絵合成とを、ファジィ推論によって関係付け、言語表現に対応した似顔絵を生成するシステムを構築した。最後に、主成分操作とファジィ推論による似顔絵生成について主観評価実験を行った。実験により寄与率と感覚的な重要度の関係やファジィ推論による似顔絵生成の有効性が明らかになった。 |
| 抄録(英) | Synthesis of facial caricatures by computer covers various applications such as illustration in newspapers and magazines, a character on web pages, retrieval of a specific face image from database, a human-like agent on portable telephone and so on. The authors have already developed a novel method to synthesize facial caricatures using eigenspaces for shape of each of facial parts and their arrangement. This paper first discusses the facial features represented by each of principal components. We construct the synthesis system of facial caricature in which a weight of each principal component is controlled interactively and weighted principal components are combined independently to synthesize an arbitrary facial caricature. Then, we discuss the relation of words representing facial impression to a facial image synthesized by the above system. This relationship is determined by using Fuzzy rule, since facial impression words contain ambiguity. Further we develop the system to synthesize a facial caricature having the facial features represented by each of impression words. Subjective evaluation results on the proposed system show its usefulness. |
