Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report addresses a dental medical interview sheet for both hearing and deaf people. We discuss certain characteristics of the sheet that is easy to understand and easy to answer questions for new patients. There are two main types for the sheets in Japanese ; One is table form and the other is sentence form. A table form is used widely and it utilizes simple expressions. A sentence form uses full sentence expressions for every item. A result for brief experiment shows that the difference of these forms does not affect much in translating into signed language interview sheet due to the modality of languages. Method of interpreting Japanese words and style of expressing them affect much the style of signed language interview sheet.
