Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of the present study was to analyze the dialogue between a certain mentally retarded child and his peers and to reveal how hi interacted with them during the cooperative learning sessions in which they were required to solve the equal distributive tasks. It was shown that the type of speech act and the corresponding behavior during the equal distributive tasks varied depending on the characteristics and the developmental levels of the addressees with whom the child was required to collaborate in solving the problem. It was also suggested that the perspective of cooperative learning is important in the domain of special education as well as instructions by teachers.
