Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In today's society where interpersonal communication is scarce, it is difficult to keep ourselves convinced that "Everybody is an irreplaceable being." On assumption that an effective approach to helping our society regain belief in this conviction is heartfelt communication, I collaborated with psychiatrists and conducted an extensive dance therapy program for hospitalized patients. This paper bases itself on my findings obtained through dance therapy experience about "how psychiatric patients regained belief in their existence," and explains the results of my research on Communication in Dance.
