Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose a novel method that partially anti-paints the specified region in digital images. First, our method smoothes the boundaries of the regions to be anti-painted using morphology operation and creates plural boundary closed curves around the smoothed region. Then our method finds the correspondence between the curves using elastic matching, propagates the correspondence into inside the anti-painted region and interpolates the color of the region. This method preserves the edge information through inside and outside of the region and can be applied to various applications include recovering damaged images. |
