Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Affordance is generally understood to be provided by artifacts to humans. This paper presents the novel concept of human-to-human affordance which is an extension of the general understanding. A human affords his/her own properties to other people. A model of human affordance is defined as a set of perceptual information and human factors. The significance of creating and/or enhancing affordance in human communication is described in addition to applying the concept of human affordance to designing human communication systems. |
