Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We evaluate hierarchical shaper, which secures throughputs for each user, and QoS data such as VoIP or video streaming data of the user. The shaper provides a queue for QoS data, which needs the QoS guarantee, and a queuefor other data for every user. And it controls the packet transmission from each queue. As a result of evaluations in which UDP is applied to communication of the QoS data, 99.37% or more of the throughputs for the QoS data and each user are assured. Furthermore, since98.03% or more of throughput is secured in the experiments in which TCP is applied to transmission of the QoS data, it turns out that it has sufficient performance for the shaper to apply to an actual network.
