Abstract(in English) We focus on a method for building community network with Internet access using mobile ad hoc network technologies and discuss advantages of this system. We conduct packet transmission experiments using routing protocols such as AODV, OLSR and the static routing as reference to investigate the possibility of the system. The relation between packet delivery rate and receiving power is measured and receiving power required for achieving high packet delivery rate is identified through experiments. Based on the experiments, we present some guidelines for designing and managing networks based on ad hoc networking.
