Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have experimentally studied outdoor optical wireless communication system for long range applications that use proposed at the first time in this paper Angle Division with Time Division Multiple Access (AD/TDMA) scheme. Proposed scheme was designed employing prototypes of experimental setups with rotating mirrors. Rotating mirrors are aimed to provide data transmission for distributed in long range open space wireless network optical transceivers. Multiple access in the scheme and transmission are done by utilizing reflection techniques of optical infrared signal from the mirrors. Proposed system with rotating mirrors demonstrates principals of angle division for wireless optical communication when client's access is assigned due to time slots. We have examined BER performance of the proposed system making measurements of received optical power depending on angles of accident light beam on the mirror and considered a mirror's angle calibration requirements. Experimental estimations for BER show low fluctuations of the value relatively to the angle diversity with mirrors. We also provide detailed description of AD/TDMA experimental setup based on stepping motor for distinguishing of angle calibration. Finally, we conclude promising outcomes of the proposed AD/TDMA system and it's challenging tasks.
