Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We focus on a table-driven routing protocol, OLSR, and compare its performance with those of MMRP, which is a table-driven protocol, and AODV, which is a on-demand routing protocol using computer simulation. We developed simulation codes for MMRP and OLSR on the simulation tool, GLOMOSIM. We confirmed that OLSR outperforms MMRP in terms of packet deliver ratio and time due to less overhead and lifetime in the routing information. We also investigate the optimal OLSR parameters such as Hello message interval, TC message interval, lifetime in the neighbor node information and lifetime in the routing information. We finally show some scenarios, where OLSR with optimized parameters outperforms AODV when considering node mobility.
