| 抄録(和) | 近年,インターネット等を利用したオンラインゲームが急増している.ネットワークを介したピアツーピア型実時間対戦ゲームにおいて,通信遅延による端末間の情報提示の差異を緩和する方法,および共有オブジェクトの厳密な扱い方を与えるアルゴリズムについて検討する.具体的には,各端末上で対戦相手の状態を予測するとともに,自己アバタの状態が相手にどう予測されているかを相互に予測する機能,即ち相補予測機能を導入する.また,共有オブジェクトを制御できる唯一の端末を識別するために,共有オブジェクトを優先的に制御するアバタ毎の領域を動的に割り当てる.本機能を用いた応用例として,ネットワーク対戦型エアホッケーを試作し,相補予測機能がゲーム性に与える影響について評価する. |
| 抄録(英) | This research studies how to reduce the difference in the timing of the information-giving between terminals caused by communication lag and how to control the shared object in real-time network game. Specifically, the mutual auxiliary predictive function is used in P2P (peer-to-peer) type of DVE (Distributed Virtual Environment). By utilizing this function, each terminal can predict mutually how is the state of the self-avatar predicted by the other terminal. And the authors employed a concept that each terminal can allocate zone dynamically to identify the terminal that controls the shared object. This concept is called the AtoZ (Allocated Topographical Zone). Thus problems in P2P type of DVE are solved. As an example of application using this function, real-time network air hockey is implemented, and the authors evaluate the influence on the real-time interactivity by the mutual auxiliary prediction function. |
