Abstract(in English) | In order to apply virtual reality technologies into tools for everyday life, it is necessary to develop untethered human interface technologies that do not constrain the user's activities. We proposed a force feedback method based on the use of air pressure toward an untethered human interface. The previous implementation used a single nozzle to provide the sensation of hitting a soft object. In this paper, we expanded the method to express the surface of three dimensional virtual objects by air jets from multiple nozzles arranged in a matrix. This paper describes implementation of the proposed method and discusses a series of experiments. |
