Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes a rendering method to realize a seamless projection on a curved screen with multiple projectors. As a first step, geometrical distortion and color inequality are corrected with an image processing hardware. This method is applied only to the assumed viewpoint at which the camera used for this correction is located. As a second step, the geometrical distortion occurred between a user's arbitrary viewpoint and the assumed viewpoint is corrected with an off-the-shelf 3D graphics hardware on PCs. A projective texture mapping accelerated with that hardware realizes this correction in real-time. We implement this method on our multi-projection display "D-vision", and show some corrected images from user's viewpoints. We also mention efficiency of our method in rendering performance.
