Abstract(in English) | Creating reactive motion with existed motion-capture systems is difficult because it requires to provide various task environments. In order to resolve such a drawback, we propose a reactive motion capture system that combines the existing motion capture system with a haptic device and a human-scale virtual environment. Our aim is to acquire eactive motion data generated from interaction between haptic dispaly and virtual environment, based on the fact that human action in real world is represented by reaction of human to real objects. With 6 task conditions, we asked the subjects to trace the rims of the front of the box and measured the finger trajections as motion data. As the experimental results, we found that our proposed system is useful for generating a natural-looking motion data like reaction in the real world. |
