Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a sketch system by handwriting primitive figures to support the design activities of designers. This system has the features of (1) the free form design by the combination of primitive figures, (2) seamless presentation in 2D and 3D space, and (3) realization by popular equipments on the market. We devised the recognition technique using a topology matrix, and the sketch UIs to transform and operate the recognized primitive figures. Evaluation experiments were performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of this system.
