Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Window systems are now standard in PCs, and we tend to have many windows open at the same time. Given the rather small display area, most windows end up covered by others. To refer to a covered window, the users must stop their current activity and perform the deliberation actions needed to display the desired window. This paper proposes a window operation interface with context continuity. It uses deliberate head movement to control window placement. The window movement interface was designed after measuring the head movements typical during computer operation, and so allows the user to employ intentional movement to control window placement.
