Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, the modeling of efficiency in collaborative task carried out by several users on the Distributed Virtual Environment (DVE) with lag is studied. The degradation of task performance, which is caused by the network lag attributes such as the amount of lag and update interval, is modeled from a viewpoint of the conditional entropy on remotely controlled avatar. As result, the authors have found out that both maximum value of conditional self-information and conditional entropy increase as the lag increasing. Also the authors have found out that the fluctuation of lag and update interval are the most important factors for describing of task performance.
