Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As yet there is no standard way of writing sentences in a signed language. We are now defining a notation system for writing sign language. We are also trying to construct jaw/SL, a machine translation system from Japanese text to sign language text. Jaw/SL outputs sign language text in our notation system.
