Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a new similarity measure between two objects. We express an object as an attribute tree with nodes representing various properties of the object. We use the edit distance of two trees recently proposed by Oommen as the objects' similarity. After proving the distance properties of the proposed measure, an application to writing tool similarity analysis is given.
