| 抄録(和) | 文字認識の高精度化,高速化が望まれる.今までの文字認識手法について,識別関数と特徴空間に焦点をあてて概説する.さらに,高精度化を目指す認識アルゴリズムとして,統合アルゴリズムに関する考え方を述べる.認識システムの実用化に際して重要となる処理速度の向上に関して,精度を落さずに高速化を実現するための並列処理化について述べる. |
| 抄録(英) | High-accuracy and high-speed character recognition systems are desired. The known character recognition algorithms are described focusing on various discriminant functions and feature spaces. One of the candidates of high-accuracy character recognition algorithms is an algorithm unified various known recognition algorithms. The idea of the unification is stated. Parallel implementation of recognition system makes processing speed-up without reduction of accuracy. To implement the parallel processing, the principle of parallelization of sequential program is described. |
