Fiber Fabry-Perot Optical Cavities with Concave Expanded-Core Fibers

Abstract(in English) We proposed new fiber Fabry-Perot optical cavities with concave expanded-core fiber ends and analyzed the optical cavities using the transformation law of a Gausian beam. Concave ends were extremely effective compared with flat ends. The feature of the experimental result was explained by the value obtained by theoretical calculation. We found that a fiber Fabry-Perot optical cavity with a widely variable cavity length between 50 and 500 μm(10 magnifications) is obtained
