Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Regenerative mode-locking experiment using actively mode-locked laser diode was performed. The optical pulse train was generated self-sustainingly by regenerative mode-locking without an external driving RF source. The pulse width was 4 ps which was comparable to that of active mode-locking. The timing jitter was reduced to 50fs when the optical fiber was installed in the feedback loop for regenerative mode-locking operation.
