Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As the method of measuring greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, we have developed the long-path absorption laser radar system using a single frequency infrared optical parametric oscillator using periodically poled MgO:LiNbO_3 crystal. Output energy at 3.39μm wavelength was 12μJ with 175MHz spectral width. Average methane concentration in the atmosphere was measured to be 1.7ppm using a topographic target at the distance of 150m and relative error of the molecular concentration was 1%.
