Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Different-guided-mode-coupling distributed Bragg reflector is a key component in an integrated-optic device multi-/demultiplexing free-space wave to/from guided waves for future chip-to-chip optical interconnection. Required grating periods are 0.28μm with 0.67nm pitch. Gratings of 0.1nm period pitch were integrated by using newly-developed interference-exposure system consisting of UV laser of 244nm wavelength, interference optics and mask aligner.
